Company Overview

Vijanatz Industries Ltd. is a Tanzanian mining company specializing in the exploration and development of a diverse range of mineral deposits.

We currently oversee 105 licenses, including Prospecting Licenses (PLs), Primary Mining Licenses (PMLs), and Mining Licenses (MLs).

These licenses cover 17 different minerals, spanning metallic, industrial, and energy-related resources. Together, they encompass a total area of approx.
30 000 hectares, spread across various regions of Tanzania.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to explore and develop critical and strategic mineral resources that not only contribute to economic growth but also support social advancement, environmental stewardship and clean energy solutions. We aim to harness the potential of Tanzania’s rich mineral landscape to deliver value to all our stakeholders and create positive impact across financial, economic, social, and environmental spheres.

The name “Vijana”, which means “youth” in Swahili, reflects our mission to foster long-lasting sustainable development that will empower communities and benefit future generations.

Social Entrepreneur, chairman,  and main shareholder of the Vijanatz Industries Ltd,  holding over 20 mining  licenses covering 350  square kilometers in  Tanzania.

Matthias Kuntze

Investor / Advisor

CEO and Entrepreneur, Chairman and main shareholder of the Savonor Group, providing employment to over2,000 People in Burundi and Tanzania.

Dr. Richard Masika

Director / Partner

Shareholder in Vijanatz Industries Ltd., and Licensed Consulting Engineer. Former Rector of Arusha Technical College, known for enhancing academia-industry ties. With a Ph.D. in Civil Structural Engineering, he brings deep expertise in civil-mining engineering, technical training.

Founder and owner of Willing Hands AS, a group of companies from Norway focusing on the sustainable design and development of entire aquaculture value chains in Africa. It has projects in 7 African countries and is currently expanding into sustainable manufacturing and mining.

The Exploration & Mining Team

James Sullivan

Lead Geologist

James specialises in exploration geology and has over 27 successful years in the mineral exploration and mining industry in Australia and internationally, with a focus on Africa. James is a Member of The Australian Institute of Geoscientists (MAIG) and holds Registered Professional Geologist (RPGeo Mineral Exploration) accreditation, he is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Energy. James’ passion is remote early-stage exploration and Archean Greenstone hosted gold mineralisation, Orogenic/Intrusion-related mineralisation including Porphyry copper/gold, Rare Earth Metal, and Uranium exploration discovery. He has been involved in the discovery of several global-scale mineral deposits through being first on the ground, and re-interpretation of these projects. James has acted as Competent Person reporting requirements for publicly listed companies.

Israel Daud John

Geologist

Geologist Pit Mapping and logging including both (Geological, Geochemical, and Geophysical logging). Experience in grade control, ROM Management, Blasting, Orebody definition, and geomodelling (design, planning, and scheduling).

Godfry Tara

Geologist

Godfrey, a seasoned Tanzanian geologist and geophysicist, has a decade of expertise in oil, gas, and mineral exploration. He is part of the Exploration & Mining Team, focusing on advanced seismic data interpretation, subsurface analysis, and sustainable mining practices in Tanzania and Japan.

Hood Mallah

Geologist

Exploration geologist with over 3 years of experience prospecting for mineral resources in multiple geological terranes within Tanzania. He has been involved in various grassroot and advanced exploration projects in Tanzania. His experience spans across a variety of commodities including uranium, strategic minerals (lithium,graphite, nickel), copper and gold.

Sandra Cynthia Ngweshemi

Geologist

With over three years of experience in site and office geology, Sandra specializes in Uranium, Phosphate, Lithium, Gold, and groundwater exploration. Currently a Hydrogeologist at RUWASA in Dodoma, she coordinates groundwater exploration, supervises drilling, prepares borehole reports, and advises water sector experts on hydrogeological matters.
